- Book Lookups: We collect the titles and authors of books you view on Goodreads to provide spice ratings and metadata
- Usage Tracking: We store your daily lookup count locally in your browser using chrome.storage to enforce free tier limits
- No Personal Data: The extension does not collect your name, email, or any personally identifiable information unless you create an account

When you use our website:
- Account Information: Email address and name (if you create an account)
- Authentication Data: Login credentials managed securely through Supabase
- Subscription Data: Payment information processed through LemonSqueezy (we do not store credit card details)
- Analytics: We use Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to understand how visitors use our site
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide spice ratings, tropes, and metadata for romantasy books
- Track your usage to enforce free tier limits (5 lookups/day)
- Process premium subscriptions and payments
- Send service-related emails (account confirmation, subscription updates)
- Improve our services and understand user behavior
- Respond to support requests
3. Data Storage and Security
- Local Storage: Usage counts are stored locally in your browser and never transmitted to our servers
- Secure Database: Account data is stored in Supabase with industry-standard encryption
- Payment Security: All payment processing is handled by LemonSqueezy, a PCI-compliant payment processor
- API Communications: All API requests are made over HTTPS
